Easier Tone Remains in Lentils

VANCOUVER - Jun 8/13 - SNS -- Lentil finished the week's trading with a moderately easier tone as offers from processors and exporters inched ahead of the short term needs of buyers.

Anxiety over seeding progress in Canada has eased against reports from Saskatchewan Agriculture that 81% of the crop had been planted as of June 3.

Even so, there is a risk farmers will not be able to finish seeding all their lentils this year because some fields remain too wet to work.
