Demand Supports Lentils
VANCOUVER - Mar 9/13 - SNS -- International lentil markets continued to firm through the past week against ongoing demand from the Indian subcontinent and other destinations.
Even though seeding of this season's rabi or winter pulse crops was completed at the start of the month, India's lentil harvest began during the week.
The country's chickpea harvest has been underway for several weeks.
