Illinois Grain Prices at Country Elevator

SPRINGFIELD - Jul 10/12 - SNS -- Corn, soybean, wheat and sorghum bids compiled by the USDA and Illinois Department of Agriculture.


Illinois Grain Prices in Country Elevators

This is Tuesday's report of the grain prices and trends prepared by the
USDA and the Illinois Department of Agriculture.

Illinois country grain prices were lower on Tuesday afternoon. Many
traders took profits at the Board of Trade and many wanted to even
positions before the release of the USDA's report. Wednesday morning
USDA will release new Supply Demand and Crop Production numbers.

In Northern and Western Illinois country grain dealers quoted shelled
corn bids 15 to 17 cents lower at 7.36-7.52. Soybean bids traded
mostly 12 to 17 cents lower at 16.20-16.30.

In Central Illinois country grain dealers quoted shelled corn bids were
14 to 19 cents lower at 7.45-7.60. Soybean bids were 13 to 21 cents
lower at 16.00-16.29. Wheat bids were 6 to 7 cents lower at 7.85-8.05.

In the Southern part of the state, shelled corn bids were 17 to 18 cents
lower at 7.47-7.69. Soybean bids were 15 to 16 cents lower at 16.05-
16.42. Wheat bids were mostly 7 to 10 cents lower at 7.69-8.31.

Elevators after 2.00 p.m. today are listed below in dollars per bushel:
