Mixed Finish in Beans
VANCOUVER - May 19/12 - SNS -- International dry edible bean markets finished the week's trading on a mixed note against conflicting attitudes between origins toward spot and new crop pricing.
Argentina's harvest is expected to get underway at the end of the month, but markets remain sensitive to the evolving weather patterns in the region.
A cold front is forecast for the coming week and this has left processors nervous about adding to sales commitments until they get a better idea of this year's yields and quality.
