Australia -- Western Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Jul 2/03 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of Western Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

WARNINGS:
Gale Warning issued for coastal waters from Mandurah to Bremer Bay. 
Strong Wind Warnings  from Jurien Bay to Mandurah and from Bremer Bay to
Israelite Bay.  

STATE FORECAST
SW Land Division: Scattered showers in west coastal parts increasing overnight
and extending eastwards during tomorrow. Isolated thunderstorms in the lower
southwest.  Winds becoming strong and squally at times in southern areas. 
Eucla coast: Isolated showers clearing tonight.
Southern Gascoyne and SW Goldfields:  Isolated showers developing tomorrow
night. 
PERTH AND METROPOLITAN:
Showery periods. Risk of a thunderstorm tomorrow. NW'ly winds becoming fresh to
strong in the morning ahead of a gusty W'ly change in the afternoon.
THURSDAY'S FORECAST TEMPERATURES:
Perth:     Min: 11    Max: 19 
Mandurah:  Min: 11    Max: 18 
THURSDAY'S UV INDEX: 2 [LOW]  
HEADLINE:     Showers, windy.

Friday    :  Few showers.                        Min: 10  Max: 19 
Saturday  :  Showers, windy.                     Min: 10  Max: 18 
Sunday    :  Few showers.                        Min: 8   Max: 18
TREND FOR  MONDAY, TUESDAY and WEDNESDAY:
Showery periods. Maximum temperatures: high teens.
