Upper U.S. Midwest Organic Grain and Feedstuffs

DES MOINES - Oct 19/11 - SNS -- Bi-weekly USDA report on organic grain and feedstuffs prices in the U.S. upper midwest.

Upper Midwest Organic Grain & Feedstuffs Report (Bi-Weekly)
Weighted Average Report for the Week Ending 10/15/11
For the following states: WI, MN, IA, SD, ND, NE, KS, MO

Compared to two weeks ago, organic grain and feedstuffs prices were mostly
higher with moderate to good demand for soybeans and feed wheat. Feed grade
corn trades were not reported this period due to limited supply, and as most
are anticipating harvest to be in full swing by November 1, weather permitting.
Some harvest was reported to have begun in Iowa and Minnesota this week.
Corn yields and quality are the focus for most at this time, as weather
conditions during the growing season have been mixed throughout the region.
Monthly and quarterly prices are located below. All prices FOB the farm gate
and negotiated spot market.
