Mixed Week in Birdseeds
VANCUVER - Sep 30/11 - SNS -- North American birdseed ingredient markets managed a mixed finish on the week in the face of more negative attitudes in U.S. commodity markets.
Oil-type sunflower seed could not avoid sharing in the steep declines in grains and oilseeds markets, with the result prices paid in some states closed well down on the week.
Confectionary sunflower markets were nominally unchanged.
