U.S Sunflower Stocks Down 34%
WASHINGTON - Sep 30/11 - SNS -- Old crop sunflower stocks in all positions on September 1, 2011 totaled 259 million pounds, down 34% from a year ago, according to the USDA's stocks in all positions report.
All stocks stored on farms totaled 16.5 million pounds and off-farm stocks totaled 242 million pounds.
Stocks of oil type sunflower seed are 135 million pounds; of this total, 8.50 million pounds are on-farm stocks and 126 million pounds are off-farm stocks.
