Upper Midwest Organic Grain & Feedstuffs Report (Bi-Weekly)
Weighted Average Report for the Week Ending 09/17/11
For the following states: WI, MN, IA, SD, ND, NE, KS, MO
Compared to two weeks ago, organic grain and feedstuffs were firm with light
supplies of grain offered in any Upper Midwest states. Demand was light to
moderate. A firmer undertone was noted this week despite a weaker trending
futures and conventional grain markets. Trade participates continue to wait
for new crop harvest to begin, so they can assess the quality and quantity
before making any major purchases.
Monthly and quarterly prices are located below. All prices FOB the farm gate
and negotiated spot market.
