Canada's Visible Pea Stocks Total 439,900 MT
WINNIPEG - Sep 16/11 - STAT -- Visible supplies of field peas in Canada's licensed elevator system totalled 439,900 metric tons (MT) during the latest week under review by the Canadian Grain Commission for the 2011-11 marketing year.
Data compiled by the Canadian Grain Commission revealed visible stocks are up 56,500 from 383,400 MT by this time of the season during the last marketing year.
Exports totalled 113,000 MT during the week under review, for a season to date total of 252,300 MT. Export shipments so far this season total 252,300 MT peas down 67,300 from 319,600 MT last year.
