Strong Finish For Birdseeds
VANCOUVER - Sep 10/11 - SNS -- North American birdseed ingredient markets finished the week's trading on a generally firm note, with grower selling interest slipping behind the short term needs of the market.
Growers in Canada and the United States are busy harvesting other crops, though limited progress was made harvesting Canada's canaryseed crop.
Even so, growers are not keen to move product off the combine, instead meeting current cash flow needs from any oilseeds or grains grown this year.
