Canada's Visible Pea Stocks Total 435,000 MT
WINNIPEG - Sep 10/11 - STAT -- Visible supplies of field peas in Canada's licensed elevator system totalled 435,000 metric tons (MT) during the latest week under review by the Canadian Grain Commission for the 2011-11 marketing year.
Data compiled by the Canadian Grain Commission revealed visible stocks are up 64,400 from 370,600 MT by this time of the season during the last marketing year.
Exports totalled 53,900 MT during the week under review, for a season to date total of 139,300 MT. Export shipments so far this season total 139,300 MT peas down 124,000 from 263,300 MT last year.
