VANCOUVER - Sep 1/11 - STAT -- U.S. Chickpeas markets finished the 2010-11 marketing year with prices leaping 10% above the recent three year average annual price on inter-dealer markets in that country.
Analysis of the monthly price pattern reveals the highest monthly average was $65.00 per cwt in August, while the lowest monthly average trading level was $40.60 per cwt in September.
During the latest three year period, the highest monthly average trading level was $48.25 per cwt in July, compared to the lowest monthly average of $43.80 per cwt in September.
