United States Small Red Bean Grower Price Review

VANCOUVER - Sep 1/11 - STAT -- United States Small Red Bean markets finished the 2010-11 marketing year with prices offered to growers easing 2% below the recent three year average annual price offered to growers in that country.

The average price paid for Small Red Bean was USD$33.31 per 100 pounds (cwt), compared to an average annual bid of $34.16 during the latest three year period for farmers dressed merchandise delivered processing plants.

Analysis of the monthly bid pattern reveals growers the highest monthly average bid was $40.00 per cwt in August, while the lowest monthly average bid level was $26.25 per cwt in October.
