United States Great Northern Beans Grower Price Review
VANCOUVER - Sep 1/11 - STAT -- United States Great Northern Beans markets finished the 2010-11 marketing year with prices offered to growers slipping 4% below the recent three year average annual price offered to growers in that country.
The average price paid for Great Northern Beans was USD$31.00 per 100 pounds (cwt), compared to an average annual bid of $32.17 during the latest three year period for farmers dressed merchandise delivered processing plants.
Analysis of the monthly bid pattern reveals growers the highest monthly average bid was $40.00 per cwt in August, while the lowest monthly average bid level was $25.00 per cwt in December.
