Brown Mustard Grower Price Review in Canada
VANCOUVER - Aug 1/11 - STAT -- Canadian Brown Mustard markets finished the 2010-11 marketing year with prices offered to growers falling 4% below the recent three year average annual price offered to growers in that country.
The average price paid for Brown Mustard was CDN$24.82 per 100 pounds (cwt), compared to an average annual bid of $25.88 during the latest three year period for farmers dressed merchandise delivered processing plants.
Analysis of the monthly bid pattern reveals growers the highest monthly average bid was $31.75 per cwt in July, while the lowest monthly average bid level was $18.25 per cwt in September.
