Net Increase in Weekly Canadian Crush
WINNIPEG - May 23/03 -- STAT -- The Canadian Oilseed Processors Association (COPA) reports weekly crush in that country totalled 41,355 metric tons (MT) of canola and 40,982 MT of soybeans during the week ending May 21.
The numbers, as reported to the association by member firms, fell 7.8% from last week's level for canola, offsetting part of last week's increase. Soybean crush jumped 21.6%, after dropping the previous week.
