General Harvest Activity Eases Lentils

VANCOUVER - Oct 1/10 - SNS -- International lentil markets finished the week's trading with an easier as western Canada's harvest finally got into full swing.

The week started with 43% of the lentil crop in the bin in Saskatchewan and with farmers across the province harvesting crops as rapidly as possible.

Current weather forecasts call for clear skies and relatively high daytime temperatures through the middle of the coming week.
