Canada's Weekly Exports Total 268,800 MT totalWINNIPEG - May 8/03 - STAT -- Export clearances of all grains and oilseeds shipped from Canada total 9,019,700 metric tons (MT) so far this marketing year down 7,044,000 MT from the 16,063,700 moved last year. The latest report from the Canadian Grain Commission (CGC) summarized weekly product movement through licensed primary and terminal elevator facilities for the week ending May 4. Grower deliveries during the week included 174,800 MT wheat; 86,400 MT durum; 11,300 MT oats; 38,500 MT barley; 9,000 MT flax; 78,500 MT canola; 3,300 MT peas; and 2,300 MT corn. The CGC pegged total exports during the week at 268,800 MT total. On the grain side this included including 163,300 MT wheat; 48,900 MT durum; 4,000 MT oats; 6,400 MT barley; 2,400 MT flax; and 100 MT corn.
