United States Small Green Lentil Grower Price Review
VANCOUVER - Sep 6/10 - STAT -- United States Small Green Lentil markets finished the 2009-10 marketing year with prices offered to growers falling 9% below the recent three year average annual price offered to growers in that country.
The average price paid for Small Green Lentil was USD$26.90 per 100 pounds (cwt), compared to an average annual bid of $29.55 during the latest three year period for farmers dressed merchandise delivered processing plants.
Analysis of the monthly bid pattern reveals growers the highest monthly average bid was $30.00 per cwt in April, while the lowest monthly average bid level was $22.50 per cwt in October.
