Tense Mood in Lentils

VANCOIUVER - Sep 4/10 - SNS -- International lentil markets remain in a tense mood on account of the slow pace of the Canadian harvest and difficulty getting offers from exporters in Turkey and other strategically located competitors.

The week ended on a relatively slow note, though, with traders in Canada looking forward to final long holiday weekend of the summer.

While people are closely watching the weather forecasts for the growing area, markets are always anxious about the contents of the coming stocks in all positions report from Statistics Canada.
