STATE FORECAST for Wednesday Scattered to isolated showers along most of the east coast. Some morning drizzle over the southeast inland. Moderate to fresh southeast winds. EXTENDED OUTLOOK The large high will shift slowly north over eastern New South Wales during the next few days while gradually weakening. The strong southeast trade winds will gradually ease along the east coast, particularly along the south coast. Scattered showers will continue along the north tropical coast for the next few days, become more widespread along the central coast on Thursday as an upper trough nears and eventually clear from the south coast Friday as the onshore flow dries up. The remainder of the state can expect fine weather for the rest of the week.
