Signs of Strength in Lentils
VANCOUVER - Jun 5/10 - SNS -- North American lentil markets showed some signs of underlying strength during the past week in the face of cool and wet conditions in Saskatchewan.
Seeding of this year's crop is not yet complete, though some market participants think there is no more than 15% left to be planted.
However, without a change in weather conditions, it will be difficult for growers to seed all intended acres.
