Australia -- New South Wales Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Mar 10/10 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Warning Summary at issue time:
Strong Wind Warning for coastal waters north from Port Hacking. Flood Warnings
for the Culgoa, Bokhara, Birrie, Narran, Paroo, Barwon-Darling and Warrego
rivers.

Current Weather Situation and Future Developments:
A strong high pressure system south of the Bight is moving very slowly east, and
will remain the dominant synoptic feature in the region for the next week. This
high is directing cooler winds across New South Wales, with shower activity
confined to the coast and east ranges.
Forecast for Thursday
Isolated showers along the coast and adjacent ranges, tending scattered along
the northern coast. Light showers also possible over the northern inland border
districts. Fine remainder. East to southeast winds, fresh to strong along the
northern coast.
Forecast for Friday
Isolated showers along the coast and east ranges, tending scattered along the
northern coast. Fine remainder. East to southeast winds.
Forecast for Saturday
Isolated showers about coast and east ranges, tending scattered along the
northern coast. Fine remainder. Southeast to northeast winds.
Forecast for Sunday
Isolated showers about the coast and east ranges north of about Moruya. Fine
remainder. Southeast to northeast winds.
