U.S. Sorghum Stocks Down on YearWASHINGTON - Jan 12/10 - SNS -- Grain sorghum stored in all positions on December 1, 2009 totaled 250 million bushels, down 16% from a year ago, reports the USDA. On-farm stocks, at 48.0 million bushels, are down 12% from December 1 last year. Off-farm stocks, at 202 million bushels, are down 17% from a year earlier. The September - November 2009 indicated disappearance from all positions is 187 million bushels, down 18% from the same period in 2008.
