U.S. Barley Stocks Up 18% on YearWASHINGTON - Jan 12/10 - SNS -- Barley stored in all positions on December 1, 2009 totaled 203 million bushels, up 18% from December 1, 2008, reports the USDA. On-farm stocks are estimated at 115 million bushels, 49% above a year ago. Off-farm stocks, at 88.5 million bushels, are 8% below December 2008.
