Pea and Lentil Tenders Reach 10,250 MT
KANSAS CITY - Dec 17/09 - STAT -- The quantity of peas and lentils covered by USDA PL-480 food aid tenders this season now totals 77,420 MT, compared to 117,820 MT last year.
Purchases of green peas are down 11,480 MT at 12,250 MT versus 23,730 MT last season. Food aid demand for U.S. regular lentils is down 17,460 MT from last year's 37,390 MT.
