Seasonally Slow Trading in LentilsVANCOUVER - Dec 12/09 - SNS -- International lentil markets were little changed in seasonally light trading activity on account of the pending Christmas and New Year's holiday period. Severe winter weather across western Canada's Prairie region and through the United States made it easier for growers to avoid markets during the past week. In large measure, however, they have covered near term cash flow needs and can afford to wait for their price before selling additional product.
