Weather Pattern A high pressure ridge over Victoria will weaken today as a low pressure trough and cold front approach from the west before crossing Victoria during Wednesday. A high pressure system will develop well south of the Bight by Wednesday night then move slowly eastwards, passing south of Tasmania during Friday night. Victoria Tuesday: Fine. A mild to warm day with high cloud increasing from the west. Light to moderate southeast to northeast winds and afternoon coastal seabreezes. Fire Danger: Moderate to high UV Index: 7 [High] decreasing to 5 [Moderate] under cloud. Wednesday: Cloudy with areas of rain tending to showers in the west later. Mild. Thursday: Scattered showers in the south particularly in the east. Becoming fine in the north. Mild. Friday: Showers in Gippsland and near the coast becoming more isolated. Fine elsewhere.
