Grower Holding Supports Birdseeds
VANCOUVER - Nov 21/09 - SNS -- North American birdseed ingredient markets maintained their firm tone through the past week, with grower selling interest remaining slightly behind the nearby needs of the market.
White proso millet and oil type sunflower seed markets in the United States were up significantly ion the week.
Sunflowers were influenced by a stronger oilseed sector, while the completion of any harvest selling pressure in millet allowed that market to advance. Canada's canaryseed harvest is wrapping up.
