North American Bean Harvest Finally OverVANCOUVER - Nov 21/09 - SNS -- North American's dry edible bean harvest is finally virtually complete, with nearly all North Dakota's crop in the bin. The improved availability of new crop product in North America allowed prices to relax slightly during the the week. This saw the spot market index for dry edible beans finish the week six points lower at 1229. The grower index finished the week down one point at 1113.
