Field Peas Maintain ToneVANCOUVER - Nov 21/09 - SNS -- Field pea markets maintained their firm tone through the past week, helped by a solid improvement in the volume of product moving from western Canada to port positions in Vancouver. Exporters are loading or have nominated vessels to lift another 168,702 metric tons (MT) of field peas from Vancouver this month. If all peas are loaded before the end of the month, this will be the best November on record for bulk conventional field pea exports from Canada, with over 214,000 MT loaded to ships.
