Lentil Remain Strong
VANCOUVER - Nov 21/09 - SNS -- North American lentil markets maintained their strong tone through the past week, helped by some short covering and limited grower selling interest.
Grower bids in western Canada continued to rise during the past week, causing some lentil producers to say they will wait for markets to stabilize before selling.
They are most likely looking for signs markets have peaked and are backing off slightly.
