MELBOURNE - Mar 30/03 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of Western Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.
WARNINGS: Strong Wind Warning for coastal waters from Cape Naturaliste to Albany. Severe thunderstorm advice for the southern Goldfields, east of the Southern Coastal and west of the Eucla districts. STATE FORECAST Southwest Land Division: Showers and thunderstorms in SE parts with local heavy falls and possible local flooding. Scattered showers in other southern areas. Isolated showers clearing from western parts. Goldfields, Eucla and Interior: Isolated showers and thunderstorms, contracting eastwards. SE Pilbara and NW Kimberley: Isolated afternoon thundery showers. PERTH AND METROPOLITAN: Cloudy periods and the chance of light shower late morning or early afternoon.
