International Bean Markets Remain StrongVANCOUVER - Nov 8/09 - SNS -- Dry edible bean markets remained strong as offers from origin suppliers remained behind the short term needs of the market. North America's harvest remains incomplete, which is affecting availability of colored beans from North Dakota, the most important producing region in the United States. This has added strength to both inter-dealer and grower markets in the United States. This saw the spot market index for dry edible beans finish the week 8 points higher at 1250.
