Kazakhstan Works on Selling Wheat to ChinaKIEV - Mar 27/03 - APK -- KABAR news agency of Kazakhstan has informed that representatives of governments and business circles of Kazakhstan and China discussed in Beijing a possibility of supplying Kazakh wheat to China. Kazakhstan's Deputy Minister of Agriculture A. Kurishbayev said that his country had a possibility of supplying to the Chinese market about 1 million metric tons of high-quality soft milling wheat with protein content of 9 percent and over. Deputy President of Chinese Company for Import and Export of Grain, Oils and Foodstuffs Yui Siuybo said to Sinhua news agency that the Chinese party had an intent to consider importing from Kazakhstan those varieties of wheat, which were in short supply in the Chinese market.
