MELBOURNE - Mar 27/03 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

WARNINGS:

STATE FORECAST
Rain and scattered thunderstorms about the central inland and adjacent ranges in
the north, with possible local heavy falls. Patchy rain in the northwest,
clearing in morning. Isolated showers and thunderstorms developing about the
central inland in the south and on the ranges. Isolated showers along the coast,
tending scattered in the north. Dry in the southwest. Morning fog patches in the
east. 
Mild to warm in the east and south, warm to very warm in the northwest.  
Light to moderate southeast to northeast winds in the east, tending fresh
southerly along the southern coasts. Light to moderate southerly winds in the
west.  
HEADLINE:
Rain and thunderstorms central northern inland. Isolated showers thunderstorms
south central inland and ranges. 
Isolated coastal showers. 
Outlook for Saturday 
Isolated showers and thunderstorms in the southeast and on the central ranges
and slopes. Isolated clearing showers in the northeast. Mild to warm. Southeast
