Firm Finish For Lentils
VANCOUVER - Oct 25/09 - SNS -- International lentil markets finished the week on a firm note as end user buying interest pulled slightly ahead of offerings from growers.
Many end users had been hoping that markets would slide in the face of improved supplies from this year's harvest.
But, the delays in the harvest combined with a heavy opening season shipping schedule to create a ready outlet for any lentils growers were delivering and/or trying to sell.
