SPRINGFIELD - Oct 21/09 - SNS -- Bi-weekly USDA report on organic grain and feedstuffs prices in the eastern cornbelt in the United States.

Weighted Average Report for Week Ending 10/17/2009

Compared to two weeks ago, organic grain and feedstuffs traded steady
to firm. Organic feed grade corn and beans traded steady to 1.00 higher.
Demand and offerings were light to moderate.  The threat of possible showers
to disrupt harvest activity helped to support prices.  Reports of quality concerns
and high moisture levels have been a problem for producers during this year's
fall harvest.
