Weather Pattern A ridge of high pressure will lie south of Victoria over the next few days, strengthening south of Tasmania on Friday before moving away to the east. A weak low pressure trough over central to eastern Victoria will persist for the rest of the week. A cold front will move south of the Bight on Saturday but will weaken as it enters western Victoria on Sunday. Victoria Thursday: Fine apart from local fog at first in the south, isolated drizzle near the coast in the morning, and isolated afternoon showers and thunderstorms about the eastern ranges.
