Compared to two weeks ago, organic grain and feedstuff prices were
unevenly steady with light to moderate demand and offerings. Rye and
barley trade was at a near standstill, while peas are showing some
moderate movement in the Upper Midwest. Food grade flax is in good
demand. Grain buyers are eagerly awaiting harvest results and farmers
are anxious to get in the fields, halted only by recent rains and snow
in some areas. Monthly and second quarter average prices are located
below. All prices FOB the farm and negotiated spot market.
