SPRINGFIELD - Mar 24/03 - SNS -- The USDA released its latest weekly national report covering the sugarcane molasses market in that country. The report covers both cane blackstrap and feed grade merchandise

National Molasses Report

Prices for sugarcane molasses were unchanged. Domestic supplies were moderate 
to heavy and demand was light to moderate. Despite tensions and the continuing 
conflict in Afghanistan the molasses trading from Pakistan appears to be 
unaffected. Some Florida mills are nearing the end of their production season 
but a few will continue production into April.

compute cents per gallon prices on cane molasses divide dollars per ton by
171 gallons ($ per ton divided by 171 gallons = cents per gallon). Ton- 
2,000 lbs; Gallon= U.S. gallon.
**Prices represent sales fob terminal to the general feed trade in the 
respective areas but do not necessarily reflect sales to other trade
