Softer Tone in BirdseedsVANCOUVER - Sep 26/09 - SNS -- Birdseed ingredient markets continued to exhibit a softer undertone in North America, with values in the United States softening. White proso millet markets declined at both the grower and inter-dealer level during the week against harvest selling pressure in some production areas. In Nebraska, 29% of the state's millet crop was harvest as the week got underway, up from 27% last year, but behind the recent five-year average of 39% in the bin by the third week of September.
