Canada's Weekly Exports Total 488,100 MT
WINNIPEG - Sep 24/09 - STAT -- Export clearances of all grains and oilseeds shipped from Canada total 3,303,200 metric tons (MT) so far this marketing year down 165,400 MT from the 3,468,600 moved last year.
The latest report from the Canadian Grain Commission (CGC) summarized weekly product movement through licensed primary and terminal elevator facilities for the week ending September 20.
Grower deliveries during the week included 636,600 MT of wheat; 88,100 MT of durum; 47,200 MT of oats; 35,500 MT of barley; 1,900 MT of flax; 609,500 MT of canola; 36,600 MT of peas; and 3,700 MT of corn.
The CGC pegged total exports during the week at 488,100 MT. On the grain side this included including 317,700 MT of wheat; 37,100 MT of durum; 18,100 MT of oats; 5,000 MT of barley; and no corn.
