Weekly Canadian Oilseed Crush Advances
WINNIPEG - Mar 21/03 -- STAT -- The Canadian Oilseed Processors Association (COPA) reports weekly crush in that country totalled 45,137 metric tons (MT) of canola and 40,397 MT of soybeans during the week ending March 19.
The numbers, as reported to the association by member firms, jumped 35.4% from last week's level for canola, ending two weeks of declining activity. Soybean crush slipped 1.8%, after posting a strong advance the previous week.
