Australia -- Western Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Mar 20/03 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of Western Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

WARNINGS:
Strong wind warning for coastal waters from Cape Leeuwin to Bremer Bay for
Friday afternoon. 

STATE FORECAST
Kimberley, far northern Interior and inland Pilbara: Isolated afternoon and
evening showers and thunderstorms.
Central and southwest Gascoyne and the north of the SW Land Division: Isolated
thundery showers extending south eastwards over the remaining SW Land Division
and adjacent Goldfields during tomorrow. 
PERTH AND METROPOLITAN:
Fine this evening. Hot tomorrow with a thundery shower or two. Moderate N to NE
winds shifting NW during tomorrow. 
FRIDAY'S FORECAST TEMPERATURES:
Perth:     Min: 19    Max: 35 
Mandurah:  Min: 18    Max: 32 
FRIDAY'S UV INDEX: 9 [VERY HIGH]  
FRIDAY'S FIRE DANGER:
Coastal Plain:  VERY HIGH
Hills:          VERY HIGH
HEADLINE:     Thundery shower or two.            
MEDIUM RANGE FORECAST FOR PERTH FOR:
Saturday  :  Morning thunderstorms.              Min: 19  Max: 28 
Sunday    :  Shower or two.                      Min: 15  Max: 24 
Monday    :  Clearing shower.                    Min: 13  Max: 24
TREND FOR  TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY and THURSDAY:
Fine. Maximum temperatures near thirty falling to mid twenties later.
PERTH DETAILS:
The overnight minimum was 14.8 at 0603 hours
