SWP names Outside DirectorsREGINA - Mar 19/03 - SNS -- The Saskatchewan Wheat Pool (SWP) elected four new independent directors, the first in the company;s history. Named are Douglas Kitchen, Harold Milavsky, Gary Colter and Herb Pinder Jr. assume their seats immediately. Their addition enhances the Board's governance model and business expertise in areas related to finance, trade and law. Kitchen, who has acted as an outside advisor to the Pool's Board of Directors since July 2000, is Managing Director of Rosenthal Collins. Milavsky is now currently Chairman and Director of Quantico Capital Corp. Colter is President of CRS Inc. Pinder is the President of Goal Group of Companies, a management and investment enterprise based in Saskatchewan. "The addition of these new Independent Directors strengthens our Board and brings our corporate governance structure in line with recent Toronto Stock Exchange recommendations," said Marvin Wiens, Pool President and Chairman of the Board.
