Strong Finish For LentilsVANCOUVER - Aug 22/09 - SNS -- North American lentil markets finished the week on a strong note as processors and exporters built in premiums to account for this year's delayed harvest. Logistical problems are already emerging, with some exporters worried they will be unable to meet September export shipping commitments. The week ended with only nominal quantities of lentils harvested, though there are large pockets of lentils which are swathed and/or desiccated and ready to be brought in from fields.
