Australia -- New South Wales Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Mar 19/03 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

For Thursday 
WARNINGS:
Gale Wind Warning for NSW Coastal Waters south of Ulladulla.
Strong Wind Warning for coastal waters between Seal Rocks and Ulladulla.
A land Gale Warning is current for the high ground of the South West Slopes and
Southern Tableland.
A Total Fire Ban is in force for the Lower Western and Riverina districts until
midnight Wednesday. A Fire Weather Warning for Very High to Extreme fire danger
is also current for these districts and for the Southwest Slopes.   

STATE FORECAST
High to Very High fire danger for inland areas and Hunter.  
Isolated showers and thunderstorms over the northeast third of the state,
contracting further north during the day with a change. A few showers persisting
about the southern ranges and slopes. Fine in the west. 
Very warm to hot in the northeast ahead of the change, milder in the south and
west.
Fresh and gusty north to northwest in the east, ahead of a milder, moderate to
fresh south to southwest change moving through eastern areas and reaching the
northern plains and Hunter coast by evening.
HEADLINE:
Isolated showers/thunderstorms contracting to northeast with a milder gust SW
change. Fine in west, few showers SE inland. 
Outlook for Friday
