Australia -- New South Wales Weather UpdateMELBOURNE - Mar 18/03 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology. For Wednesday WARNINGS: A Strong Wind Warning for coastal waters south of Seal Rocks. A Total Fire Ban is in force for the Lower Western and Riverina districts until midnight. A Fire Weather Warning for Very High to Extreme fire danger is also current for these districts and for the Southwest Slopes. STATE FORECAST Very High fire danger for the Central West Slopes and Plains. Morning fog patches about the central coast and ranges. Isolated showers and thunderstorms developing inland, extending to the far south coast late in the day. Very warm to hot inland, warm to very warm in the east. Moderate east to southeast winds on the north coast. Moderate to fresh northwest to northeast winds over the remainder, strengthening in the west and south, ahead of a milder fresh west to southwest change in the west.
